What will you do in this role? We are currently seeking to fill posiitons for an Electro-Mechanical Technician (Maintenance) for 2nd and 3rd shifts.
For this role, you will maintain and repair industrial machinery and equipment, ensuring their proper and safe operation. Your expertise will be invaluable in preventing major equipment breakdowns and reducing downtime in our production facility.
Must beavailable to train on 1st Shift (6:00am – 2:00pm) for 3-6 months.
What will you do in this role?
- Diagnose and troubleshoot various electrical, mechanical, pneumatic and hydraulic issues with industrial equipment and robotics.
- Perform regular preventive maintenance tasks on industrial machinery and equipment to ensure their optimal performance and longevity.
- Repair or replace defective parts or components using hand and power tools.
- Conduct inspections and testing of machinery to identify potential issues and develop comprehensive maintenance plans.
- Collaborate with production operators and other team members to identify recurring issues and implement effective solutions.
- Maintain accurate documentation of maintenance activities, including work orders, reports, and equipment logs.
What does it take to be successful in this role?
- High school diploma or GED equivalent. A 2-4 year technical degree is preferred.
- **2+ years **of proven experience as a maintenance technician, electro-mechanical technician, or in a similar role within a manufacturing or production environment.
- Strong knowledge of electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic systems. Experience with PLC/HMI systems, vacuum systems, man lifts and forklifts is preferred.
- Proficiency in using hand and power tools for repairs and maintenance tasks.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics; basic computer skills.
- Good manual dexterity and ability to lift at least 35 pounds unassisted.
