1st Shift (5:30 AM - 2:00 PM), Monday - Friday

Electro-mechanical Maintenance technicians combine knowledge of mechanical technology with knowledge of electrical and electronic circuits to operate, test, and maintain unmanned, automated, robotic, or electromechanical equipment.

Because the Electro-mechanical Maintenance Technician has specialized knowledge and expertise, they must be willing to mentor and assist in training others.

Responsibilities:

• Safely troubleshoot electrical, pneumatic, mechanical, and hydraulic systems associated with a wide variety of production equipment
• Working knowledge of PLC and Electronic Drives and show an ability to troubleshoot a down system with the use of a laptop
• Working knowledge of PID controllers and analog control systems
• Perform the preventive maintenance required as per OEM manuals
• Know or ability to learn all shop disciplines to include Millwright work, welding, pipefitting, and the use of machine shop equipment
• Required to work by themselves or in a team environment and follow all safe work practices
• Available for after-hours call times and work overtime as required
• Develop and improve process documentation, quality plans, training and operating instructions as appropriate

Requirements

• Experience working in a manufacturing environment in an industrial maintenance roll or similar
• Knowledge in electrical, pneumatic, mechanical, and hydraulic systems
• Ability to work independently demonstrating strong technical knowledge and good communication skills
• Must be able to work in a fast pace environment while maintaining quality and safety standards
• Sound communication skills and excellent problem-solving ability
• Possess skills required to improvise and adapt where needed
• Analytical thinker, which utilizes data to drive decisions
• Strong team leadership and team work skills

Education:

· Associates Degree or High School Diploma and relevant experience required.

Physical Requirement:

· Ability to lift up to 40 pounds
