Build Complex Systems — Not Just Products

If you’re the kind of technician who takes pride in clean wiring, precise builds, and solving real technical challenges — this is the role you’ve been looking for.

At LACO Technologies, you’ll build custom leak testing and vacuum systems used by some of the world’s most innovative companies — including SpaceX, Tesla, Apple, Lockheed, Google, and BioFire — where performance and reliability truly matter.

This isn’t repetitive production work. Every system is engineered to order, and your craftsmanship directly impacts mission-critical applications across aerospace, medical, and advanced manufacturing.

Why Experienced Technicians Stay Here

  • Custom builds — no assembly line monotony
  • Every project is different and technically engaging
  • Engineers onsite — real collaboration, not handoffs
  • Clean, climate-controlled shop
  • Predictable schedules and strong work/life balance
  • Leadership that respects craftsmanship and technical expertise
  • Stable company with strong backlog and growth
  • Opportunities to expand into advanced technical roles

What You’ll Be Responsible For

  • Assemble complex electro-mechanical systems including control panels, subassemblies, and integrated equipment
  • Perform precise point-to-point wiring following electrical schematics and build documentation
  • Route, terminate, label, and verify wiring harnesses and electrical connections
  • Install components including  relays, sensors, controllers, power supplies, and instrumentation
  • Read and interpret mechanical drawings, wiring diagrams, and engineering change notices
  • Support system testing, troubleshooting, and functional verification
  • Identify build issues and collaborate with engineering to resolve them
  • Maintain high workmanship standards and organized work areas
  • Follow quality processes and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives

Requirements

What Sets You Apart

  • 3–5+ years building electro-mechanical systems, panels, or complex equipment
  • Strong schematic reading and build interpretation skills
  • Experience with control panel wiring or electrical assemblies
  • Pride in neat layouts, labeling, and quality
  • Ability to troubleshoot and think critically during builds
  • Comfortable working both independently and on collaborative teams
  • Reliable, detail-oriented, and committed to craftsmanship

Bonus Experience (Highly Valued):

  • Automation, aerospace, or equipment manufacturing environments
  • Low-voltage electrical systems or instrumentation
  • Vacuum, testing, or precision equipment builds
  • Lean manufacturing or 5S environments
  • ERP systems or digital work instructions
