Job Overview:

Electro-Mechanical Assembler – 1st & 2nd Shift

Job Type: Full-Time, Temporary

Pay: $15.00–$15.50 per hour

Assignment Length: Temporary assignment expected to run through mid-to-late January 2027

Available Shifts

1st Shift

  • 6:30 AM – 3:00 PM
  • $15.00/hour

2nd Shift

  • 3:00 PM – 11:30 PM
  • $15.50/hour

Position Overview

We are hiring Electro-Mechanical Assemblers for a temporary production need. This position is responsible for building and assembling basic electro-mechanical components by following provided instructions, process sheets, and training.

This is a great opportunity for someone who is dependable, comfortable performing hands-on and repetitive work, and able to follow detailed instructions in a manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

  • Perform basic assembly operations including wire stripping, tinning, plugging, twisting, hand crimping, and packaging
  • Follow provided process sheets and work instructions
  • Rotate between different assembly areas as needed
  • Properly clock into assigned jobs and operations using a computer
  • Communicate job status and quality concerns with supervisors and leads
  • Follow all workplace safety procedures
  • Maintain a clean and organized workstation
  • Perform other production and assembly duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • High school diploma, GED, or comparable work experience
  • Ability to follow verbal and written work instructions
  • Ability to communicate effectively with supervisors and coworkers
  • Basic math skills, including fractions and decimals
  • Ability to accurately read a ruler
  • Basic computer skills
  • Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity
  • Ability to perform repetitive work
  • Must be able to accurately distinguish between colors due to working with multicolored wiring
  • Previous assembly or manufacturing experience is helpful but not required

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to sit or stand for extended periods depending on the assigned task
  • Ability to perform repetitive hand and assembly work
  • Regularly lift and move up to 10 lbs
  • Occasionally lift and move up to 50 lbs
  • Ability to bend, reach, push, pull, kneel, and crouch as required by the position

Important: This is a temporary position expected to run through approximately mid-to-late January 2027. Both 1st and 2nd shift opportunities are available.
