Electro-Mechanical Assembler
📍 Location: North Kingstown
💲 Pay: $20- $25/hr (Based on Experience)
🕒 Shift: 1st Shift (Monday-Friday)
Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled Electro-Mechanical Assembler to join our manufacturing team. This role is responsible for assembling, wiring, testing, and troubleshooting electro-mechanical systems and components using engineering drawings, schematics, and work instructions. The ideal candidate will have strong mechanical aptitude, experience with electrical assemblies, and the ability to work in a fast-paced production environment.
Responsibilities
- Assemble electro-mechanical products, subassemblies, and components according to engineering drawings and work instructions.
- Perform mechanical assembly using hand tools, power tools, and measuring instruments.
- Wire electrical panels, control boxes, harnesses, and assemblies from schematics and diagrams.
- Read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and assembly instructions.
- Conduct functional testing and troubleshooting of completed assemblies.
- Inspect finished products to ensure quality and compliance with specifications.
- Maintain accurate production and quality documentation.
- Follow all safety procedures and company policies.
- Collaborate with engineering, quality, and production teams to resolve assembly issues.
Qualifications
MUST HAVES (Non-Negotiable)
- 2+ years of electro-mechanical assembly experience.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and mechanical drawings.
- Experience with hand tools, power tools, and measuring equipment.
- Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to perform wiring, cable routing, and electrical connections.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience building control panels or electrical cabinets.
- Soldering experience.
- Experience with testing equipment such as multimeters and continuity testers.
- Manufacturing or production assembly background.
- IPC certification is a plus.
