Overview
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Electro-Mechanical Assembler to join our dynamic team in Lake Forest, CA. In this role, you will play a crucial part in the assembly and testing of electro-mechanical systems, ensuring that our products meet the highest standards of quality and performance. Responsibilities
- Completing tasks to build from component parts the electronic assemblies and sub-assemblies
- Completing appropriate paperwork associated with assembly orders
- Adhering to all company operating procedures and quality requirements
- Performing surface-mount and through hole soldering on printed circuit boards
- Trimming, clipping, crimping, and tinning of wires and leads
- Properly label finished products
- Fabricate, test and troubleshoot electrical cables, Harnessed and electronic components and assemblies for High Reliability Integration
- Harness and cable building.
- Assemble fabrication and inspect complex box builds
- Integration of electrical and mechanical assemblies
- Install, mount, fasten, align and adjust parts, components, wiring and harnesses to subassemblies and assemblies using hand and small power tools
- Operate automatic and semi-automatic machines to position, solder and clean prescribed components on printed circuit boards
- May replace defective components and repair and overhaul older devices.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certification in a related field is a plus.
- IPC-A-610, IPC-A-620 and JSTD-001
- Proven experience in electro-mechanical assembly or a similar role.
- 2-5 years of professional experience working with electronics down to the component level
- Ability to assemble parts into metal enclosures
- Strong understanding of electrical and mechanical systems.
- Ability to read and interpret mechanical work instructions, drawings and schematics.
- Proficient with hand tools and electronic testing equipment.
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
