Electro-Mechanical Assembler

What You'll Do
- Assemble complex electro-mechanical systems and components.
- Build and install cable harnesses, wiring, and pressure-rated connectors.
- Perform wire crimping and soldering to IPC standards.
- Conduct functional testing and troubleshooting of electrical and mechanical systems.
- Support New Product Introduction (NPI) by helping transition new designs into manufacturing.
- Assist with pilot builds, process improvements, and assembly documentation.
- Perform leak testing, pressure testing, and calibration of components.
- Read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and assembly drawings.
- Maintain quality standards while following ESD and safety procedures.
- Collaborate closely with engineering and production teams to improve manufacturing processes.
Required Qualifications
- 4+ years of electro-mechanical assembly experience.
- Experience in manufacturing environments such as aerospace, defense, automotive, robotics, marine, or similar industries.
- Ability to read technical drawings, schematics, and wiring diagrams.
- Experience with soldering, wire harnessing, and cable fabrication.
- Strong mechanical aptitude with hand and power tools.
- Experience using testing equipment such as multimeters and measuring tools.
- Ability to troubleshoot mechanical and electrical assemblies.
- Comfortable lifting up to 50 lbs. and working in a manufacturing environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- IPC-A-610, J-STD-001, or IPC/WHMA-A-620 certification.
- Experience supporting New Product Introduction (NPI) programs.
- Experience with marine robotics, AUVs, ROVs, aerospace, or defense manufacturing.
- Knowledge of leak testing, pressure testing, waterproof assemblies, or subsea applications.
- Familiarity with ERP/MRP systems and Lean Manufacturing principles.
