We foster an inclusive culture and are looking for diverse, hardworking people to join Alcon! As an Electro Mechanic supporting our manufacturing site, you will be trusted with helping with the development of others while minimizing production downtime and helping to improve yield and quality.

In this role, a typical day will include:

  • Assisting with the training and development of Maintenance Technicians/Electro-Mechanics and production personnel.

  • Troubleshoot, repair, and perform corrective maintenance for all production equipment including technical problems in mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, electrical, and control systems.

  • Assisting with improvements to the maintenance systems. (Preventative, Corrective, Predictive, and Spare Parts)

  • Assisting with technical projects for process upgrades and improvements, and with revising or writing SOPs.

  • Optimizing manufacturing equipment and processes to provide balanced gains in product quality, output, product yield, and cost reduction

WHAT YOU’LL BRING TO ALCON:

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent

  • The ability to fluently read, write, understand, and communicate in English

  • Work hours: 36 - 48 hours per week: 6:30 AM/PM EST – 6:30 PM/AM EST (12-hour rotating day/night shift: 2 days/nights on, 2 days/nights off, and every other weekend)

  • Travel Requirements: 0%
