Electro-Maintenance Technician – 3rd Shift

We’re searching for an Electro-Maintenance Technician – 3rd Shift, someone who works well in a fast-paced setting. In this position, you will take ownership when equipment stops running. You will operate legacy production equipment where troubleshooting skill matters more than titles or buzzwords. If you know how to trace power, diagnose faults, and fix the issue—not pass it off—this environment will feel familiar and rewarding.

Job Duties & Responsibilities
Troubleshoot and repair production equipment with a primary focus on electrical issues.
Diagnose and work safely on 480V, 3-phase systems, VFDs, and control circuits.
Use a voltmeter to trace issues from push buttons through safety devices, drives, and motors.
Identify failed components and restore operation independently.
Support mechanical repairs as part of electro-mechanical troubleshooting.
Work on older equipment where failed components must be found without full HMI guidance.
Communicate findings clearly when escalating to specialists is required.
Follow strict safety standards when working inside electrical panels
Skills & Requirements
Demonstrated 480V electrical troubleshooting experience
Ability to safely open panels and diagnose electrical faults
Strong understanding of power flow and control circuits
Confident use of a voltmeter in live troubleshooting
Mechanical capability to support electro-mechanical repairs
Willingness to explain troubleshooting logic step by step
Ability to work 3rd shift in a production environment
PLC programming or editing is not required
Basic diagnostic awareness is sufficient
A separate controls team supports advanced PLC work
