This position is part of the Plant Engineering team that supports BAE Systems NHQ building in South Nashua:
- The ideal candidate will have knowledge and experience with maintenance of low, medium and high voltage power distribution
- Knowledge and experience with uninterruptible power supplies, automatic transfer switches and emergency/standby power generation systems
- Knowledge and experience with the installation and/or maintenance of fire alarm systems
- Installation of low-voltage electrical panels and circuitry
- Troubleshooting of electrical circuits, control panels and VFDs
- Collaborate with stakeholders – Ability to work with customers and stakeholders to provide quality services
- Internal team collaboration – Ability to work in a cross-functional team environment to achieve goals and objectives
- Monday-Thursday 4/10 schedule providing flexibility for work/life balance
Expectations:
- Participation in the site’s off-hours on-call rotation
- Participation on the site’s offensive Chemical Emergency Response Team (CERT)
- Participation in the site’s snow removal team

Required Skills and Education
- High School Diploma or GED
- New Hampshire Master’s Electrician license with at least 5 years in the trade
- Basic computer skills to maintain site reports, spreadsheets, preventive maintenance logs and operate within a computerized maintenance management system
Preferred Skills and Education
- Experience with maintenance and troubleshooting of electrical distribution systems
- Experience with maintenance and troubleshooting of uninterruptible power supplies, generators and automatic transfer switches
- Experience with maintenance and troubleshooting of fire alarm systems and fixed oxygen monitoring systems
- Knowledge or experience with building automation systems
- Knowledge of HVAC, boilers, chillers and other building infrastructure systems
- Knowledge of relevant building codes and standards.
- Ability to get a secret clearance.
Typical Education and Experience
Typically a High School Diploma and 4 years work experience or equivalent experience
