Position Summary

We are seeking a motivated and safety-focused Apprentice Electrician to support electrical installation and tool hookup activities at the Samsung site in Taylor, TX. This role is ideal for individuals looking to grow their electrical career in a fast-paced industrial/semiconductor environment while working under the guidance of licensed electricians and supervisors.

Required Qualifications

• Willing to obtain **TDLR Apprentice Registration **($20 fee)
• OR TDLR Electrical Apprentice License (State of Texas)
• Valid OSHA 10 Construction Certification (required)
• Basic understanding of electrical systems, tools, and safety practices
• Ability to work in a team-oriented, high-demand construction environment
• Reliable transportation to the Taylor, TX job site

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with tool hookup and installation of semiconductor manufacturing equipment
• Support electrical material installation, including conduit, cable tray, and supports
• Perform cable pulling, routing, and securing in accordance with project specifications
• Assist with termination of electrical wiring and connections under supervision
• Read and interpret basic electrical drawings, blueprints, and schematics
• Maintain compliance with all site safety requirements and company policies
• Ensure proper use and care of tools, equipment, and materials
• Maintain clean and organized work areas

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience in commercial or industrial electrical work
• Familiarity with semiconductor, cleanroom, or high-tech construction environments
• Experience with hand and power tools used in electrical installation
