Electrician Associate | Now Hiring | Santa Fe Springs, CA
Compensation Includes:
- Starting range of $32.48-$38.97/hour - paid weekly

- Rotating two days off
Responsibilities:
The Electrician Associate plays a critical role to maintain and repair basic electrical equipment associated with production lines, support equipment, buildings, and facilities. Diagnosis, repair, or replace any defective components on plant equipment. Make minor repairs on mechanical systems when needed.
- Performs planned electrical maintenance on all equipment and machinery for the thermoforming process to ensure the integrity of electrical systems
- Diagnoses, troubleshoots and repair/maintain all equipment and machinery for the thermoforming process including trim presses, extruders, formers, crystallizers, dryers, conveyors, and grinders
- Modifies new and existing equipment for performance improvements and upgrades
- Completes paperwork accurately and in a timely manner
- Responsible for ensuring housekeeping in area(s) of responsibility are safe, clean and tidy
- Follows all Company established rules and policies

Qualifications:
- 3-5 years of related experience
- Must be knowledgeable in electrical systems, hydraulics, pneumatic, blueprint reading (mechanical/electrical), welding and fabrication
- HS Diploma or equivalency
- Previous electrical & mechanical experience with troubleshooting capabilities
- Previous experience with Thermoforming machines preferred
- Knowledge of PLCs is preferred; Must have own tools and be able to use them safely and effectively
- Ability to work with others effectively as a part of a team is essential
- Flexibility to work overtime and off shifts as needed
Physical Requirements and Work Environment: (if applicable)
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, kneel, crouch, and climb ladders for extended periods
- Frequently required to lift and carry up to 50 pounds independently
- Use of hands and arms to handle tools, operate machinery, and perform maintenance tasks with precision
- Comfortable working in a variety of environmental conditions, including hot, cold, wet, dusty, or noisy areas
- Visual acuity to read technical documents, safety warnings, and perform detailed inspections
- Ability to respond to auditory signals, alarms, and verbal instructions
- Must be able to wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) as required by the task
