Supporting the maintenance and repair of industrial electrical equipment to ensure continuous operation and compliance with safety and quality standards. A “non-journey-level” position, developing important experience.

Under the direction of a Head, Lead or Class – A Electrician, may perform a specific maintenance function as assigned within an overall facility, or within a designated operational department.

Primary Duties:

1. Communicate effectively and work closely with other Mechanics and other maintenance professionals to align maintenance and repair efforts with production goals or facility-specific needs.

2. Perform and oversee routine preventive maintenance, inspections, and repairs.

3. Learn to diagnose mechanical issues, identify root causes of failures, and implement effective solutions to restore functionality quickly and efficiently. X

Secondary Duties

1. Help to ensure adherence to safety protocols and follow applicable standards.

2. Learn to identify opportunities to enhance maintenance procedures, recommend upgrades or adjustments to equipment, and contribute to overall operational efficiency.
