Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Industrial Electrician to support the maintenance, troubleshooting, and installation of electrical systems throughout our manufacturing facility. This role is responsible for maintaining production equipment, responding to electrical issues, and assisting with ongoing facility improvement projects. The ideal candidate has experience working with industrial electrical systems ranging from 24VDC to 480V and is comfortable in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Install, wire, and terminate electric motors, control panels, and electrical equipment.

  • Run conduit, pull wire, install cable trays, and complete control wiring installations.

  • Install and replace sensors, relays, fuses, lighting, and other electrical components.

  • Troubleshoot and repair electrical systems ranging from 24VDC to 480VAC.

  • Diagnose and resolve electrical issues affecting production equipment.

  • Support electrical maintenance activities within both the Roll Mill and Melt Shop.

  • Perform reactive maintenance (approximately 80% of daily work) to minimize production downtime.

  • Complete preventative maintenance tasks (approximately 20% of daily work) to improve equipment reliability.

  • Assist with facility improvement and construction projects, including:- Running conduit

    • Pulling and terminating wire
    • Wiring and terminating electrical panels
    • Installing lighting and security cameras
    • Supporting 120V power installations
  • Follow all plant safety policies and procedures while maintaining a clean and organized work area.

Qualifications

  • Experience wiring motors, control panels, and industrial electrical equipment.
  • Proficient in running conduit, installing cable trays, pulling wire, and terminating electrical circuits.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills with electrical systems from 24VDC through 480VAC.
  • Experience with sensors, relays, fuses, and industrial control wiring.
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and wiring diagrams.
  • Basic understanding of PLC-controlled equipment is preferred; extensive PLC troubleshooting is not required.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a maintenance team in a manufacturing environment.
