About the Role
Catapult Staffing Group is hiring experienced Industrial Electricians for a client in the Phoenix metro. You'll install, maintain, and troubleshoot electrical systems in an industrial setting such as manufacturing, data center, or heavy commercial/industrial construction. We're looking for electricians who work safely, take pride in quality, and can work independently or with a crew.
Responsibilities
- Install, terminate, and test power and control wiring for industrial equipment, motors, and process systems
- Bend and install conduit (EMT, rigid, PVC) and install cable tray, wireways, and supports to spec
- Pull, terminate, and megger cable, including 480V three-phase and medium-voltage where applicable
- Install and wire MCCs, switchgear, panelboards, transformers, disconnects, and VFDs
- Troubleshoot motor controls, starters, relays, sensors, and basic PLC I/O
- Read and work from blueprints, one-line diagrams, schematics, and panel schedules
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on electrical equipment
- Follow LOTO, NFPA 70E, and all site safety procedures
- Keep the work area clean and organized and document completed work accurately
Requirements
- 4+ years of industrial electrical experience (commercial-only experience may not qualify)
- Strong knowledge of the NEC and industrial wiring methods
- Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and schematics
- Experience with three-phase power, motor controls, and VFDs
- Own hand tools and a working multimeter
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen
- Reliable transportation to the Phoenix-area jobsite
Preferred Qualifications
- Journeyman card from any state, or completion of an apprenticeship or NCCER program
- OSHA 10 or OSHA 30
- NFPA 70E training
- PLC troubleshooting experience (Allen-Bradley, Siemens)
- Experience in data center, semiconductor, or manufacturing environments
- Lift certification (scissor/boom)
Physical Requirements & Work Environment
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, climb ladders, and work at heights
- Ability to stand, kneel, and bend for extended periods
- Outdoor and indoor work, including Phoenix summer heat. Hydration and heat-safety practices are required.
- Required PPE: hard hat, safety glasses, gloves, steel/composite-toe boots, and high-vis, plus arc-rated gear when required
