Job Description

One of our manufacturing clients is seeking a skilled Electrician to join their maintenance team in Grand Rapids, MI.

**Pay Rate: **$35/hr - $37/hr

**Shift: **3rd shift

Responsibilities:

• Install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain industrial electrical systems and manufacturing equipment

• Diagnose electrical issues involving motors, control panels, VFDs, PLC-controlled equipment, sensors, and automated machinery

• Perform preventive and predictive maintenance on electrical systems to maximize equipment reliability and reduce downtime

• Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, blueprints, and technical documentation

• Install and maintain electrical wiring, conduit, transformers, breakers, and motor control centers (MCCs)

• Troubleshoot PLCs, HMIs, and industrial automation systems to support production operations

• Assist with new equipment installations, machinery upgrades, and automation projects

• Complete maintenance work orders and accurately document repairs using CMMS software

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED; technical or vocational training in Electrical Technology, Industrial Electricity, or a related field preferred

• Journeyman Electrician License or equivalent industrial electrical certification preferred

• 3+ years of industrial electrical maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment

• Strong knowledge of industrial electrical systems, motor controls, PLCs, VFDs, and automated equipment

• Experience with Allen-Bradley, Siemens, Mitsubishi, or Omron PLC platforms

• Knowledge of robotics, servo systems, industrial networking, and HMI programming
