We’re searching for an Electrician, someone who works well in a fast-paced setting. In this position, you’ll be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems and components in residential, commercial, and industrial settings. The electrician will ensure all work complies with state electrical codes, safety standards, and regulations.

Job Duties & Responsibilities
Installs,maintains, and repairselectrical wiring, equipment, and fixturesin accordance withstate regulations and safety codes
Inspectselectrical systems, equipment, and components toidentifyhazards, defects, and the need for adjustment or repair, ensuring compliance with codes
Readsand interpretsblueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams todeterminethe layout of electrical systems
Plansthe layout and installation of electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures based on job specifications and local codes
Diagnosesmalfunctioning systems, apparatus, and components, using test equipment and hand tools tolocatethe cause of a breakdown and correct the problem
Connectswires to circuit breakers, transformers, or other components
Testselectrical systems and continuity of circuits in electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures using testing devices such as ohmmeters, voltmeters, and oscilloscopes to ensure compatibility and safety of the system
Supervisesand trainsapprentices and other less experienced staff
Ensuresall installations and repairs are completed on time and within budget
Providesexcellent customer service andaddressesclient inquiries and concerns
Participatesinthe requiredsafety program and worksin a safe manner
Additionaldutiesassigned bythe manager
Skills & Requirements
Education/Experience
High school diploma or equivalent
Proven experience as an electrician
Required Qualifications/Skills
In-depth knowledge of electrical systems, tools, and equipment
Familiarity with the National Electrical Code (NEC) and state electrical codes
Strong troubleshooting and critical thinking skills
Ability to read blueprints, technical diagrams, and schematics
Excellent hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity
Good communicationand interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
