The Position

Job Summary

Based at our manufacturing plant in Norfolk, VA, we are hiring a Reliability Engineer to proactively support the Maintenance Department by implementing predictive and preventative maintenance strategies to prevent and predict equipment failures.

Key responsibilities include:

• Overseeing predictive maintenance functions, including oil analysis programs and documentation of inspection results.

• Leading RCAs and Breakdown Analysis to identify and solve "bad actors" and "run limiters" in equipment.

• Training maintenance trades in precision maintenance and predictive tools.

• Managing the Maintenance and Repair of Systems Utilities Equipment.

• Participating in budgeting, SD planning, and driving Industry 4.0 efforts.

• Ensuring compliance with industry standards for inspection plans.

The ideal candidate will have previous reliability knowledge and leadership experience in a heavy industrial environment, strong computer skills (including Microsoft Office), experience with CMMS, and the ability to troubleshoot and propose solutions. Minimum supervision is expected, requiring the Reliability Engineer to have their own vision and drive to maintain reliability processes and programs.
