What you’ll do:
- Perform system tests, including IR and dielectric testing, and complete written test reports, logs and records
- Troubleshoot electrical problems in complex systems
- Troubleshoot AC/DC circuitry and printed circuit assemblies to the component level
- Assemble, set-up programs and perform functional tests on circuit boards
- Organize work by receiving work requests; studying wiring diagrams, drawings, and specifications testing systems and electrical components; determining cause of problems and requirements to solve problems
- Use test equipment including digital meter, current meter, out of phase transformer, variac transformer resistive load bank, hi-pot tester, current clamp, computer, and infrared camera
- Maintain safe work environment by following standards and procedures; complying with legal regulations and codes
Qualifications:
Required (Basic) Qualifications:- Must have a High School Diploma or GED required from an accredited educational institution
- Must have a minimum of one year of experience in electrical test or related electronic technologies field, preferably in a manufacturing environment
- No relocation benefit is being offered for this position. Only candidates within a 50-mile radius of work location will be considered. Active Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation.

Preferred Qualifications:- Associates degree in electronics or electrical engineering technology
- Prior training with electrical equipment and testing procedures Read and understand one-line drawings, wire lists, and schematics
- Proficiency with Microsoft applications (Outlook, Excel, Word, etc.)
- Understanding of delta-wye 3 phase transformer and resistive load bank technology
Skills:
Position Criteria:- Individual may be required to sit, stand and walk regularly
- Individual must be able to lift up to 50 pounds throughout work shift .
- Individual may be required to stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, climb, reach, push and/or pull.
