About Us:

GrayWolf Modular develops and delivers modular solutions that significantly enhance predictability and scale for the construction of our clients' key infrastructures and facilities. The group is focused on the data-center and advanced manufacturing space by specializing in E-houses, CDUs, CUBs, White Space, Modular Data Centers, and other modular products for these markets. We offer end-to-end services to develop, design, procure, manufacture, and commission these modular products to meet client requirements.

Position Value Proposition:

We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Electrical Switchgear Manager specializing in modular data center infrastructure design. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for the design, development, and construction of electrical switchgear systems tailored to modular data center environments. You will lead the creation of robust, scalable, and reliable electrical systems that ensure uninterrupted data center operations. Your expertise in electrical engineering, switchgear design, and modular construction will be key in delivering high-performance, state-of-the-art infrastructure solutions.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop custom electrical switchgear systems for modular data center projects, ensuring high reliability and scalability.
  • Lead the design process for electrical switchgear, distribution systems, and associated components, considering the specific needs of modular data centers.
  • Oversee the detailed electrical design, including circuit protection, power distribution, and backup systems, ensuring adherence to operational and safety standards.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., architects, mechanical engineers, and project managers) to integrate switchgear solutions into the broader data center infrastructure design.
  • Perform electrical load analysis and fault analysis to ensure designs meet the necessary power demands while allowing for future growth.
  • Develop and manage the electrical testing and commissioning process for newly built switchgear systems, ensuring all designs are fully functional and reliable.
  • Maintain compliance with electrical codes, industry standards (e.g., NEC, IEC, NFPA), and regulatory requirements in all switchgear designs and installations.
  • Provide hands-on leadership in the construction and installation of switchgear systems, including oversight of electrical construction teams, contractors, and field operations.
  • Drive the implementation of energy-efficient designs and sustainable practices in electrical systems for modular data centers.
  • Troubleshoot, resolve, and optimize electrical designs during the testing phase to address any performance issues or system inefficiencies.
  • Lead ongoing improvements and innovations in electrical systems to keep pace with evolving data center technology and energy efficiency standards.
  • Mentor and manage a team of electrical engineers, technicians, and contractors, ensuring timely delivery of design milestones and high-quality execution.
  • Provide technical expertise and support to operations and maintenance teams for troubleshooting and long-term system management.
