Job Title: Electrical Supervisor

*THIS IS A SAFETY SENSITIVE POSITION*

Job Overview: The Electrical Supervisor at IKO’s Bismarck, Missouri facility is a hands-on leadership role responsible for supervising the electrical maintenance team and ensuring the reliability, safety, and performance of electrical and electronic systems supporting the plant’s high-speed, continuous granule manufacturing operation.

Responsibilities

  • Provide first-line supervision, technical guidance, and training to industrial electrical and electronics technicians.
  • Lead troubleshooting efforts to diagnose electrical issues and develop effective solutions.
  • Establish department goals and objectives while directing daily electrical maintenance activities.
  • Participate in the selection, onboarding, training, and development of Electrical Department personnel.
  • Research and recommend new technologies, equipment, methods, and techniques to improve plant operations.
  • Manage electrical tools and equipment, including repairs, calibration, documentation, and inventory control.
  • Perform and oversee electrical maintenance and repairs for compressors, power tools, and other plant equipment.
  • Enforce electrical safety practices, educate employees on applicable codes and hazards, and ensure compliance with safe work procedures.
  • Identify electrical safety concerns and implement corrective actions; review drawings and inspect contractor work for compliance with standards.
  • Plan and oversee scheduled testing of electrical and electronic equipment while developing and maintaining maintenance procedures, instructions, and schedules.

Requirements

  • Knowledge of Allen Bradley Drives, Relay Logic, PLC logic controls and Programming.
  • Licensed Industrial Electrician or Degree in Electrical Engineering preferred
  • Minimum 3 years of supervisory experience in Industrial environment.
