About the Role
We are seeking a skilledIndustrial Electrical Assembly & Panel Builderto join our team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with industrial electrical systems, PLC boards, drives, and motor controllers. This role requires strong troubleshooting skills, the ability to read and interpret wiring diagrams, and experience assembling and testing electrical control panels.
Skills & Qualifications
- Industrial electrical experience required; recent graduates of an Electrical, Mechatronics, or Industrial Maintenance program are encouraged to apply.
- Experience with 480V, 120V, and 24V AC electrical systems.
- Electrical control panel assembly and wiring experience.
- Ability to read electrical schematics, blueprints, and wiring diagrams.
- Experience with PLCs, VFDs, power inverters, and motor controllers.
- Manufacturing experience required.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Proficient with hand tools and electrical testing equipment.
- Experience with UL 508A control panels preferred.
- Must provide basic hand tools, lift 50+ lbs., and pass a basic electrical aptitude test.
Job Duties
- Assemble, wire, troubleshoot, and repair industrial control panels and electrical systems.
- Read and interpret schematics and engineering drawings.
- Test electrical systems for continuity, voltage, and proper operation using multimeters and testing equipment.
- Diagnose and repair electrical components, wiring issues, and control systems.
- Inspect completed panels to ensure quality and compliance with specifications.
- Perform preventive maintenance and assist with machine startup and testing.
- Follow all safety procedures while maintaining a clean and organized work area.
