About the Role
We’re looking for a Panel Builder with hands-on experience assembling and wiring industrial control panels. You’ll work from schematics, parts lists, and Bills of Material (BOMs) to bring automation systems to life — ensuring everything is wired, labeled, and built correctly to spec.
Key Responsibilities
- Assemble control panels from electrical schematics and wiring diagrams
- Read and interpret electrical drawings, BOMs, and layout schematics
- Select proper wire size, color, and terminals according to design requirements
- Cut, strip, and terminate wire; route neatly from point A to point B
- Mount components such as relays, breakers, PLCs, and terminal blocks inside enclosures
- Identify and communicate issues or discrepancies to the engineering team for correction
- Maintain clean, organized work areas and follow quality/safety standards
Preferred Experience & Brands
- Experience working with industrial panel components such as:
- Strong understanding of control wiring, low-voltage circuits, and panel layout best practices
Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in control panel assembly or industrial electrical wiring
- Ability to read and interpret wiring schematics and electrical layouts
- Familiarity with UL standards for control panels a plus
- Must be local to the Atlanta area and available for on-site work in College Park
