Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled a Electrical Technician to support robot manufacturing and assembly operations. The ideal candidate will possess strong electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills, experience interpreting electrical schematics, and the ability to diagnose and resolve assembly and operational issues.

Experience

  • 2-4 years of experience in electrical, mechanical, robotics, automation, or related industrial environments.
  • Experience supporting assembly processes, equipment maintenance, or manufacturing operations.
  • Familiarity with FANUC robotic systems is preferred.

Education

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Associate Degree in Electrical Technology or related field preferred.
  • Candidates with electrical education and mechanical experience are strongly encouraged to apply.

Certifications

Preferred certifications include:

  • FANUC Certified Maintenance Technician
  • FANUC Certified Mechanical Technician
  • NETA Certification

Required Skills & Knowledge

Electrical

  • Strong understanding of electrical systems, controls, and components.
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and wiring diagrams.
  • Proficiency in troubleshooting electrical and electromechanical systems.
  • Experience using electrical diagnostic tools and testing equipment.

Maintenance & Troubleshooting

  • Familiarity with predictive and preventive maintenance techniques.
  • Ability to identify root causes of equipment and assembly issues.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

  • Perform electrical and mechanical assembly of FANUC robotic systems.
  • Interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and mechanical drawings.
  • Troubleshoot and repair electrical and mechanical issues during assembly and testing.
  • Conduct inspections and measurements using precision instruments.
  • Perform preventive and predictive maintenance activities.
  • Ensure adherence to quality, safety, and production standards.
  • Document repairs, modifications, and testing results as required.
