Description
LACO Technologies is seeking an experienced Electrical Assembly Technician to build Electrical Panels and perform the wiring of system components. This position is key to providing on-time assembly for our controllers and electrical panels that are used in our Vacuum and Leak Testing Systems. To be successful in this position, you should be able to follow instructions, know basic electrical panel assembly, and be good at working with tools. LACO is a custom project manufacturing firm specializing in vacuum and leak testing technology serving domestic and international markets.

Requirements
Desired Skills
- Knowledge of electronic assembly, panel or controller building, and testing
- Be able to interpret data from electrical and mechanical diagrams and schematics.
- Layout specifications for fabrication and modifications on metal enclosures.
- Mount electrical components including circuit breakers, transformers, relays, contactors, terminals, input/output devices, and or all related industrial control devices.
- Wiring of electrical components and cable assemblies.
- Rely on prior experience to make wiring decisions related to size, color, and routing.
- Solder connections and crimps connectors to wire ends.
- Highly motivated, self-starter, capable of working independently as well as in a team setting
- Computer skills
- Ability to lift 50 lbs.
Education & Experience
- 2-3 years of work experience in a related field
Compensation & Benefits
- Pay: $19.00 - $23.00 per hour depending on experience with opportunities for overtime.
