Electrical Maintenance Technician

Shifts/Hours:Monday - Friday (weekends as needed), 8AM to 5PM

Pay Rate:$18/hr during training, $24+/hr post hire

Location:Wharton, Tx

Experience:6+ months recent experience

Electrical Maintenance Technician Job Duties:

• Assist senior maintenance technicians and learn correct procedures and techniques to repair plant equipment
• Troubleshoot, repair and maintain production equipment
• Provide own hand tools to make repairs
• Complete daily equipment reports, work orders and log book data entry
• Must be able to work a rotating shift and work outside production schedules to complete emergency, scheduled or PM repairs

Electrical Maintenance Technician RequiredSkills:

• Experience with electrical equipment
• Use of Electrical Troubleshooting and Repair equipment such as multimeters, oscilloscopes, surge testers, megaohmeters, and other hand tools
• Ability to work as an individual or as part of a team
• Associates degree or tech school certifications in Electronics, Instrumentation, or Electrical Technology or equivalent experience in an industrial/manufacturing environment
• Able to pass a written electrical test
