We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Electrician Maintenance Technician to join our team in Cuthbert, GA. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the smooth operation and maintenance of our Electrical Systems and Machinery. Shift Schedule - 2nd Shift
- Sunday to Wednesday 8:00 pm to 8:00 am; or
- Thursday to Sunday 8:00 pm to 8:00 am
- Shifts are subject to periodic rotation EVERY 8 WEEKS

Responsibilities
- Install maintain, and repair electrical control, wiring, and lighting systems.
- Read technical diagrams and blueprints.
- Perform general electrical maintenance.
- Inspect transformers and circuit breakers and other electrical components.
- Troubleshoot electrical issues using appropriate testing devices.
- Repair and replace equipment, electrical wiring, or fixtures.
- Follow National Electrical Code, state and local building regulations.
- Circuit breaker corrective maintenance.
- Good knowledge of various test equipment.
- Have worked with 480 volts and 3 phase motors.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Good oral communication skills to discuss issues with the Power Systems Manager.
- Ability understand information contained in Electrical manuals and blue prints.
Qualifications
- Must have a minimum of (1) year of Electrician work experience documented in the work history section of the application or a graduate of a Electrical Maintenance training program. Can be a combination of employers as long as experience is at least 1 year.
- Must have 6 months of continuous employment in the past 2 years
- Must have a valid state driver’s license, or the ability to obtain one. Must maintain an updated forklift drivers license (renewable every two years).
- This facility accepts rehires only after 180 days, and having worked less than 3 times.
- Must be 18 years or older
- Must present valid Identification
- Must be willing to use basic hand tools
- Must be willing to possibly work overtime and weekends
- Completion of computer-based training and data entry into the SAP system
- Must be able to read and understand assignments.
- Must be willing and able to lift 50 pounds, climb stairs 120 feet and ladders up to 60 feet, willing to stand for long periods of time, withstand extreme hot, cold, and inclement weather
