Overview

We are currently partnered with a major manufacturing company in the Crosby, TX area that's seeking an Electrical Maintenance Technician to join their growing team. The ideal candidate will have maintenance experience in an industrial manufacturing setting, with strong electrical troubleshooting experience and knowledge.

Responsibilities

  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on various machinery and equipment.
  • Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues to ensure optimal performance.
  • Install and maintain electrical systems, including 120/208/240/480 voltage systems.
  • Conduct electrical troubleshooting and repair tasks as needed.
  • Work with Variable Frequency Drives (VFD) and servo motors to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Troubleshoot Allen Bradley and Siemens PLCs.
  • Document maintenance activities and maintain accurate records of repairs and installations.
  • Collaborate with team members to identify areas for improvement and implement solutions.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in mechanical troubleshooting and repair.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical systems, including installation and troubleshooting.
  • Experience working with 120/208/240/480 voltage systems.
  • Familiarity with Variable Frequency Drives (VFD) and servo motors.
  • Experience troubleshooting PLCs.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Relevant certifications or technical training in maintenance or electrical fields is a plus.
