Position Objective
Oversee electrical and related maintenance activities to ensure cost-effective, safe, and reliable operation of production equipment. This includes preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and problem resolution for electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
Key Responsibilities
Maintenance & Troubleshooting: Perform preventative maintenance on production machines, air compressors, chillers, and other electrical systems. Identify and resolve issues through observation, listening, and testing.
Project & Installation Oversight: Evaluate and approve engineering project designs and budgets; oversee new equipment installation; execute special improvement projects.
Quality Control: Follow established quality guidelines; monitor production output for conformance to specifications; resolve quality issues promptly.
Team Leadership: Manage the maintenance section; prepare and train engineers and technicians; review work orders, PM records, and forms; approve evaluations.
Inventory & Scheduling: Manage spare stock purchasing and storage; coordinate with production and scheduling for maintenance and repairs.
Compliance & Safety: Enforce safety rules and PPE requirements for self and subordinates; comply with ISO and OSHA procedures.
Performance Analysis: Analyze downtime, reports, and monthly performance metrics; evaluate maintenance section performance.
Required Qualifications
Education:
Associate’s degree in Engineering or equivalent experience
Skills:
Troubleshooting mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems
Reading mechanical blueprints and schematics
General pipe fitting/fabrication and welding
Working knowledge of electronic systems
Machining, millwright, and welding skills
