Electrical Maintenance SupervisorPosition Overview
Shaw Industries is hiring an Electrical Maintenance Supervisor to supervise approximately 8 hourly Maintenance associates. The Maintenance Electrical Supervisor handles the day-to-day tasks associated with work orders for electrical and PDM associates. This person is also responsible for scheduling, insuring timekeeping is accurate and interfaces with the plant Production leadership team to insure that equipment uptime is optimized.
Responsibilities:
Establish associate work schedules by working closely with the Maintenance Planners and Operations.
Mentor and provide technical support to develop the skills of maintenance personnel in area of responsibility.
Monitor, analyze, and review equipment performance to identify opportunities for improvement.
Support a proactive maintenance environment by identifying opportunities for performing Preventative and Predictive
Maintenance.
Complete special projects assigned by the Plant Engineer.
Coordinate and/or conduct required training.
Insures OSHA, NEC and other local, state and federally required compliance on work performed, training delivered and
other Maintenance activities.
Available to work weekends, off shifts and holidays, if required.

Position Requirements:
High School Diploma/GED required.
2+ years manufacturing maintenance experience required.
Demonstrated knowledge in electrical maintenance technologies including power transmission, motor control, equipment
control, PLC’s, and process instrumentation.
Able to manage others in an inclusive and respectful manner.
Good reading comprehension, writing skills, an understanding of both metric and standard measurements, practical and
business math.
Ability to communicate clearly with all levels of Shaw associates.
Able to negotiate with vendors as well as schedule and oversee on-site contract workers.
Knowledge of TPM and Lean Manufacturing principles.
Strong organizational and computer skills.
A technical 2 or 4 year degree in engineering or a maintenance related field is preferred.
