Wheatland Tube,a division of ZekelmanIndustries, is seeking an Electricianfor our facility located inWheatland, PA

Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor, this bargaining unit position is responsible for performing electrical maintenance in all areas of the Plant.

This position will work 8 hour rotating shifts.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Candidates must be willing to work rotating 8 hour shifts.
• Perform electrical maintenance in all areas of the Plant including industrial electrical control systems, power systems, AC and DC electronic speed control drives, and crane repair
• Trouble shooting of Programmable Logic Controls, motors, drives and relays
• Bending and installing conduit and wiring for equipment installations
• Perform Preventive & Predictive maintenance on electrical equipment
• Adhere to safe work practices in accordance with OSHA and Company safty policies & procedures such as LOTO & Arc Flash
• Prepare various reports
• Other duties as assigned by Management

**QUALIFICATIONS: **

• High school diploma or equivalent

• Prior manufacturing experience preferred

• Excellent written and oral communication skills, ability to work independently, and/or in a team environment

• Detail orientated, able to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment and available to work rotating shifts including weekend and OT

• Display a positive attitude towards your work and maintain positive working relationship with others

• Mechanical aptitude necessary for fulfillment of job requirements

• Must be able to interface with computers and efficient at problem solving

• Ability to pass hair follicle drug/physical/background check

• Legally authorized to work in the US

• Regular, full-time, predictable onsite attendance per the posted schedule is an essential function of this role

• Leadand promote health and safety work practices as required by regulatory agencies and company policy
