The Electrical Engineering Intern will receive training on the practical application of engineering concepts to develop solutions for project assignments associated with Continental’s energy assets. The intern will work with and provide support to one of the following departments within Continental: Drilling, Completions, Production, Resource Development or Project Management. In any department, the engineer intern will have the opportunity for both field- and office-based experiences.
The intern will be assigned a department-specific project and is expected to present a summary of the results of their work. These projects vary in scope but typically require the intern to learn and understand current practices, identify areas for improvement, evaluate potential solutions, and recommend an implementation with supporting evidence or review the results of an implemented solution.
