Job Title: Electrical Engineering Intern  

Department:  Engineering    

Reports to:   Engineering Manager  

FLSA  Status:   Non exempt

Summary:  As a  member of the Martin's Family, the Electrical Engineering Intern will provide Electrical support to the Engineering Department.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: include the following. Other duties as assigned.  

  • Think logically and reasonably to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions, or approaches to problems.  

  • Knowledge of Electrical Engineering concepts and principles  

  • Participate in continuous improvement efforts by collecting and analyzing data.  

  • Research solutions to project concerns, analyze and recommend solutions to problems.  

  • Assist with ad hoc projects as assigned.  

  • Understand department needs and seek clarification when needed.  

  • Work with  AutoCAD  program .  

  • Compose Engineering documents regarding design and layouts .  

  • Take Measurements and create designs .  

  • Adheres to and enforces   safety, food safety,  quality,  and Good Manufacturing Practices regulations .  

  • Reports food safety problems to personnel with authority to initiate action.

Education and/or Experience:  

  • High School Diploma or GED;  

  • Currently attending accredited institution pursuing a degree in  Electrical Engineering .    

  • Experience in using AutoCAD

Reasoning Ability:  

 

Computer Skills:  

  • Microsoft Office ;  Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
