Job Overview:

Manager, Tech Enablement ( Engineering Innovation)

📍 Austin, TX | Hybrid.

💼 Full-Time

We’re partnering with a global technology-driven organization in the industrial and hardware engineering space to find a Manager, Tech Enablement to help drive engineering innovation, technology adoption, and capability growth across a global Hardware Engineering organization.

This is a highly strategic role for someone who thrives at the intersection of engineering, innovation, systems thinking, and cross-functional leadership.

🔧 What You’ll Be Doing:

• Build and own an end-to-end Hardware Engineering Innovation Framework

• Drive innovation initiatives from ideation through execution

• Evaluate emerging technologies and identify opportunities for engineering advancement

• Partner with global engineering leaders across Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, Firmware, Systems, QA, Test, and Engineering Operations

• Facilitate workshops, design sprints, hackathons, and technology scouting activities

• Define KPIs and measure innovation impact, adoption, and engineering efficiency

• Influence technical direction and capability development without direct people management responsibility

✅ What We’re Looking For:

• 6+ years in hardware, embedded systems, or multidisciplinary engineering environments

• Strong experience leading innovation programs, technology enablement, or engineering transformation initiatives

• Deep understanding of engineering systems and cross-functional product development

• Experience building frameworks, processes, or scalable engineering improvement programs

• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills across global teams

• Ability to influence in complex engineering organizations

⭐ Nice to Have:

• Experience with Lean, Agile, DFSS, DFX, FAST, or Systems Thinking methodologies

• Knowledge of prototyping, simulation, engineering automation, or hardware/software co-design

• Background working across Mechanical, Electrical, Firmware, or Systems Engineering teams
