InstroTek, Inc. is seeking a motivated and innovative Electrical Engineer to join our growing engineering team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys solving complex problems and bringing advanced instrumentation products from concept to market.

In this position, you will lead the design and development of electrical and electronic systems, working closely with mechanical and software teams to create high-quality measurement products used across a variety of industries. You will collaborate with our research staff to play a key role in developing new technologies, prototyping innovative solutions, and supporting production as our products move from design to market.

What You’ll Do

  • Develop microprocessor-based electronics with user interfaces, data acquisition, and communication protocols
  • Design analog and power supply electronic systems for measurement and instrumentation products
  • Create schematics and PCB layouts that meet company design standards
  • Collaborate with R&D teams to prototype and develop new products
  • Establish and execute testing protocols for new and existing products
  • Analyze and communicate test results and recommend improvements or corrective actions
  • Serve as the technical point of contact for PCB fabrication and assembly
  • Maintain organized design documentation and version control
  • Support production teams by providing training on assembly and testing procedures
  • Monitor industry trends and emerging technologies to keep products current and competitive
Requirements

What You Bring

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering
  • 3+ years of experience in electronic system design or product development

Technical Skills

  • Strong programming skills in C or C++
  • Proficiency with PCB design and layout software
  • Experience designing analog and digital circuits
  • Familiarity with microprocessor-based systems and embedded electronics
  • Plus: Experience with circuit simulation tools (SPICE or equivalent)

Work Environment & Physical Requirements

  • Primarily office and lab-based work in a climate-controlled environment

  • Occasional lifting or carrying of equipment up to 40 lbs
