Job Title: Electrical Engineer III – Senior Industrial Electrical Engineer
Location: 531 Old Swede Road – Douglassville, PA 19518
Schedule: Monday–Friday | 8:00am-4:30pm | Full-time hours on-site

If you’re an experienced electrical engineer who wants real ownership of complex industrial systems—and prefers solving problems over sitting in meetings—this role will feel like a natural fit.
At American Crane & Equipment Corporation (ACECO), we’re looking for a senior-level individual contributor who can design, troubleshoot, and own electrical systems used in mission-critical industrial, nuclear, and heavy manufacturing environments.
We build equipment where safety, reliability, and sound engineering judgment matter—this is work our team takes seriously.
You won’t get lost here—your work will be seen, and it will matter.
What This Role Really Is
This is a senior-level, hands-on engineering role—you’ll spend most of your time designing electrical systems, solving complex technical problems, supporting manufacturing and field teams, and being accountable for engineering decisions that directly impact real-world equipment.
Who Thrives Here (and Who Doesn’t)
You’ll do well here if you:
- Take ownership of your designs, decisions, and outcomes
- Enjoy solving complex electrical problems in real-world environments
- Communicate clearly across engineering, manufacturing, and field teams
This role is likely not a fit if you:
- Prefer highly structured or heavily layered corporate environments
- Want to move into people management instead of staying technical
- Avoid accountability for design decisions or outcomes
What Success Looks Like (First 90 Days)
- Learn ACECO design standards, systems, and project workflows
- Begin contributing to electrical designs and reviews with minimal ramp-up
- Build working relationships with Mechanical, Structural, Manufacturing, and Service teams
- Support troubleshooting efforts across design, build, and field stages
- Progress toward full ownership of electrical design scope on assigned projects
