We’re looking for a hands-on Electrical Engineer with a strong field presence to support the development, maintenance, and enhancement of heavy industrial equipment. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys a mix of design, troubleshooting, and real-world application, working both in the shop and in the field to ensure optimal machine performance.

Key Responsibilities

Design, troubleshoot, and upgrade electrical systems for heavy industrial equipment.
Lead retrofit projects to enhance the performance and reliability of existing machinery.
Provide technical support both in-house and on-site at customer locations.
Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals.
Collaborate with mechanical engineers, technicians, and production teams to develop integrated solutions.
Assist with product testing, validation, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Document wiring layouts, modifications, and procedures with clarity and accuracy.
Ensure all designs and repairs comply with safety and regulatory standards.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience.
3+ years of hands-on electrical engineering experience, preferably with heavy equipment or industrial machinery.
Strong understanding of industrial electrical systems (12V/24V DC, hydraulic controls, PLCs, sensors).
Experience with retrofitting, wiring, and troubleshooting complex electrical systems.
Comfortable working in a shop environment and traveling to customer sites or industrial locations as needed.
Ability to work independently, take initiative, and problem-solve in real time.
Excellent communication and documentation skills.
