Hetronic, a Methode Electronics Company, is seeking an Electrical Engineer 1 to assist with the design, development, and testing of electrical equipment, components, or systems.

Responsibilities:
Follow guidance and provide support to more experienced engineers
Perform hardware design including design and failure analysis
Involved in design strategy, hardware creation, new product definition, and system development
Provide input and direction for product specifications, automated test fixtures, and test software
Create functional models and prototypes to perform validation / testing through experimental methods
Use six sigma tools to evaluate and validate designs
Will be part of a development team that can include Electrical Engineers, Mechanical Engineers, Software Engineers, Systems Engineers and Lab Technicians
Specify materials and production processes
Interact with sales personnel and travel to customers and vendors as required
Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
Bachelor degree in Electrical Engineering
Familiar with mathematical and engineering principles and methods used to design electrical systems
Ability to travel up to 10% domestic and international
Proven ability to overcome obstacles and get results
Ability to occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds
Additional Qualifications:
1+ years of applicable experience
