As an Electrical Engineer your responsibilities will be:
- Support maintenance with troubleshooting and repairs.
- Accept the responsibility of being in the on-call rotation to support the maintenance department.
- Solve repeat issues with long-term sustainable solutions.
- Retrofit obsolete parts and equipment.
- Lead and manage capital projects.
- Define project scope in collaboration with stakeholders: Sales, Production, Maintenance, Safety, Product Safety, Quality, IT, OT, Training, Sustainability, Logistics, Insurance, HR, CI, etc.
- Define project budget and timeline in collaboration with stakeholders and contractors.
- Assign responsibilities to employees and contractors and monitor progress to stay on time and budget.
- Prepare project status reports, including highlighting critical paths, budgets, schedules, responsibilities, etc.
- Ensure project’s compliance with the applicable codes, practices, policies, performance standards, and specifications.
- Define equipment specifications and participate in FAT & SAT to verify performance.
- Review engineering drawings including layouts, mechanical, electrical, civil, architectural, P&I, etc.
- Manage employees and contractors performing project work, especially regarding timelines and safety.
- Troubleshoot project issues that arise, including interferences, missing or inadequate parts and installations, etc.
- Manage documentation and support stakeholders through lifetime of equipment usage
A strong Electrical Engineer will possess:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field preferred.
- 3-5 years of manufacturing experience preferred.
- Demonstrated skill in organizing work, setting priorities, troubleshooting, and sound decision making.
- Strong Leadership capabilities and effective team communication.
- Strong work and personal ethics.
- Ability to deal effectively with company personnel on all levels ranging from production workers to top management.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills to work effectively in a team environment.
- Must be able to work flexible hours.

- Follows company guidelines and actively participates in all safety processes
- Carry out job/area specific housekeeping duties and maintain a high standard of professionalism
- Look for, report, and correct any near misses/unsafe conditions or behaviors as soon as possible
- Identify needed changes and make recommendations - find a better way
