Job Description

A well-established consumer products manufacturer is building a brand-new plant in the Defiance, OH area and needs a senior Electrical Engineer to lead the electrical and power-systems side of this large-scale capital project from the ground up.

What you would do:

• Serve as the project lead and SME for electrical design and power distribution on a large-scale new-plant capital project
• Design and manage high-voltage to low-voltage power systems, drives, motors and PLC-based controls
• Lead project management for major capital workstreams — budget, schedule, vendor coordination
• Coach, mentor and train engineering and technical staff
• Work from home for ~6 months while traveling to other plants roughly 3 of every 4 weeks out of the month, then relocate permanently to the Defiance, OH area once the new plant is finished.

What you need:

• Strong project management experience on large capital projects
• Electrical design, power distribution and controls experience, high voltage through low voltage
• Hands-on experience with Allen-Bradley and/or Siemens platforms
• Demonstrated experience coaching, mentoring and training others
• Willingness to travel then relocate permanently to the Defiance, OH area

$120,000–$150,000/yr. Relocation assistance provided for the permanent move.
