Job Description

We are looking for a skilled and creative Electronics Engineer to join our team in Ann Arbor. This is an on-site role requiring a solid understanding of electrical systems. The position involves designing, developing, and testing electronic components and systems, with a focus on innovation and technical proficiency in areas such as PCB design, debugging, and programming.

Responsibilities

• Develop and design electronic circuits and systems using software tools like Altium Designer.
• Build and test prototypes of electronic devices to ensure they meet performance standards.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues in electronic designs through debugging techniques.
• Work closely with multidisciplinary teams to incorporate electronic systems into broader projects.
• Conduct measurements with equipment such as oscilloscopes to verify compliance with technical specifications.
• Document design workflows, testing outcomes, and project details for reference and knowledge sharing.
• Perform thermal testing and refine designs to achieve optimal performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
• Proficiency in firmware development and embedded programming with languages like C.
• Experience with PCB design and layout tools is strongly preferred.
• Comprehensive knowledge of electrical systems and components.
• Familiarity with both hardware and software debugging methods.
• Strong analytical skills with great attention to detail.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment and independently as needed.
