Position Summary
The Electrical Distribution Engineer is responsible for guaranteeing the reliable, safe, and efficient operation of all critical power systems. In this role, you will lead the commissioning, troubleshooting, and maintenance of high‑availability power systems, develop detailed step‑by‑step risk‑based operation plans, and manage large‑scale cross‑functional projects.Role and Responsibilities
Here’s What You’ll Be Responsible For:
Overseeing commissioning, troubleshooting, and maintenance of critical power systems.
Development of detailed step plans incorporating risk analysis for all device operations.
Project and Schedule management for large multi-team efforts.
Ensuring power system uptime and performance.
Managing the proper operation and incident response/recovery.
Performing alarm management and rationalization of alarms, Monitor trends in equipment utilization, capacity and performance.
Development of detailed step plans incorporating risk analysis for all device operations.
Skills and Qualifications
Here's what you'll need:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in related Engineering field, Electrical or Electronics Engineering highly preferred.
5+ years of relevant experience with medium & high voltage electrical distribution.
Knowledgeable in MV Switchgear and it's Protections.
Experience in Commissioning, testing, of HV/MV/LV electrical distribution equipment. (Including creation of commissioning procedures etc.)
All positions at Samsung Austin Semiconductor require you to be onsite.
The current base salary range for this role is between $70,480 - $179,090. Individual base pay rates will depend on factors including duties, work location, education, skills, qualifications and experience. Total compensation for this position will include a competitive benefits package and may include participation in company incentive compensation programs, which are based on factors to include organizational and individual performance.
