Summary:
Create Electrical Schematics in AutoCAD and AutoCAD Electrical for automation projects for modernizations and new installations of Electric Arc Furnaces, Ladle Metallurgical Furnaces, Vacuum Tank Degassers, Continuous Casters, Hot and Cold Rolling Mills, Metallurgy and Process Line equipment.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Work under moderate to light supervision from Technical Systems Manager.
Assist Senior Designers with small portions of large complex projects.
Develop proficiency in the application of new CAD methods as they become available for general use.
Modify existing AutoCAD and AutoCAD Electrical schematic drawings from redlined drawings and/or reference drawings provided by the Technical Systems Manager.
Create new AutoCAD and AutoCAD Electrical schematic drawings from redlined drawings and/or reference drawings provided by the Technical Systems Manager.
Produce PLC Cabinet and Control Desk interior and exterior arrangement drawings from redlined versions provided by the Technical Systems Manager.
Link individual schematic drawings together to form a complete package for an entire PLC Cabinet or Control Desk.
Qualifications:
Formal training in AutoCAD • Basic understanding of Electrical Theory
