ESTIMATED PAY RANGE

$78,000 - $93,000, DOE

PROJECT LOCATION

Brooklyn Park, MN with occasional travel to Faribault, MN, and/or Burnsville, MN

JOB SUMMARY

As an Electrical Engineer in Faribault/Brooklyn Park, MN, you will: create and update drawings using AutoCAD Electrical; follow applicable electrical engineering standards (e.g., NEC, NFPA 79, UL 508A) to ensure safety and compliance; source various electrical components; find and retrieve documents within EPICOR; collaborate with colleagues to advance project tasks; have proficiency with standard equipment such as digital multimeters and oscilloscopes, and work collaboratively with suppliers and other Applied partners.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering required

  • Experience with AutoCAD Electrical required

  • A minimum of two years of previous engineering experience required

  • Knowledge of requirements from the National Electrical Code and derivative standards and codes for grid-connected systems preferred

  • Familiarity with renewable energy systems, including inverter and battery-based systems, preferred

  • Proficiency with other electrical design software, such as EPLAN or Solidworks Electrical, a plus
