Overview

We are currently recruiting a talented and motivated Electrical Design Engineer to join a dynamic team in Louisville, KY. In this role, you will leverage your expertise in electrical and product design to create innovative solutions that meet our clients' needs. Responsibilities

• Design and develop industrial electrical systems using AutoCAD & AutoCAD Electrical

• Specify electrical components and develop bills of materials (BOM) for material handling systems, including PLCs, drives, sensors, wiring/cables, and field system

• Integrate customer HMIs into system designs

• Update and maintain electrical drawings and schematics

• Collaborate with engineers, project managers, and customers to ensure efficient project execution

• Participate in project design reviews

• Stay up to date with customer specifications and industry standards

• Follow safety protocols and maintain an organized work area

Qualifications:

• Degree in an electrical design-related field OR equivalent work experience
• Strong understanding of electrical circuits with the ability to develop and modify electrical diagrams
• Experience with electrical enclosure layouts and knowledge of UL requirements
• Proficiency with Allen-Bradley (Rockwell) drives and PLCs
• Proficiency in AutoCAD
• Exceptional attention to detail and documentation skills
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities
