Job Overview:

Join a stable, long-standing manufacturer where you’ll build and wire both standard and highly customized industrial control panels. This is a great opportunity for an experienced Panel Builder who enjoys hands-on electrical work and wants to grow their skills in automation and controls.

What You’ll Do

  • Build, wire, and test industrial control panels from electrical schematics and BOMs
  • Work on both repeat panels and large, customized panels requiring several weeks of wiring
  • Install and troubleshoot relays, circuit breakers, switches, and motor controls
  • Work with PLCs and HMIs and provide light troubleshooting as needed
  • Perform basic mechanical work including drilling, tapping, punching holes, and mounting equipment
  • Support electrical troubleshooting, commissioning, and field service activities as needed
  • Use quality measurement tools and follow established quality standards

What We’re Looking For

  • 4+ years of electrical panel building experience
  • Strong ability to read and understand electrical schematics and BOMs
  • Experience building, wiring, and testing industrial control panels
  • Exposure to PLCs and HMIs; PLC programming is not required
  • Background in automation, controls, electrical troubleshooting, or commissioning is a plus
  • Comfortable with hands-on mechanical work
  • Ability to lift 50+ lbs. and stand for most of the workday
  • Reliable, long-term mindset with a stable work history

Why Join?

  • Air-conditioned facility
  • Opportunity to learn directly from highly experienced, long-tenured employees
  • Stable company with a strong culture and low turnover
  • Free medical insurance once converted to permanent
  • 401(k) contribution
  • Profit sharing and performance-based bonus opportunities
  • Tuition reimbursement
  • PTO and additional long-term employee benefits
  • Potential for 5–10 hours of overtime per week currently available
  • Strong opportunity to grow and cross-train in automation and controls

If you’re an experienced Panel Builder looking for a long-term opportunity with a stable company, great work environment, and room to grow, we’d love to hear from you.
