As an Electrical Assembler II, you will play a crucial role in the production process by ensuring the proper assembly and installation of electrical components in the HVAC systems. You will be responsible for tasks ranging from wiring termination to the installation of advanced electrical systems such as UV light systems and control boxes. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of electrical principles, excellent attention to detail, and a commitment to safety.

Essential Responsibilities / Activities:

  • Thorough understanding of electrical schematics and unit drawings
  • Understanding of actuator operation and pneumatic measurement locations
  • Understanding of submittal documents
  • Able to pull relevant information as it pertains to electrical installation such as filter depth, Nema rating, curb height, equipment access
  • Knowledge of assembly drawing for better understanding of electrical assembly installation
  • Knowledge of refrigeration equipment components and their locations
  • Ability to read electrical Bill of Materials (BOM) to verify proper component installation
  • Ability to make decisions regarding the best way to run wiring as units are being built
  • Knowledge of submittal data sheet information as it pertains to unit’s electrical construction
  • Able to bend conduit predetermined 90-degree stub and offsets
  • Terminate damper actuator power and control wiring
  • Terminating low and high voltage in control panels
  • Attention to Detail: Meticulous attention to detail and accuracy in workmanship, ensuring precise assembly and installation of electrical components
  • Safety Consciousness: Strong commitment to workplace safety, with a thorough understanding of electrical hazards and the ability to mitigate risks effectively
  • Team Player: Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment, providing guidance and support to colleagues as needed
  • Adaptability: Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and production schedules, with a proactive approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement

Qualifications


Desired Skills:

  • Ability to direct and organize other assembler in tasks to be completed
  • Communicate and support other assembly leads to accomplish work in most effective manner

Qualifications:

  • Related experience in electrical arena
  • Basic level of air handler operation and terminology
  • Basic understanding of electrical schematics
