This position is part of Novanta’s ATI Industrial Automation business unit. ATI is the world’s leading developer of robotic end of arm technologies. Summary

The Assembler I, will be responsible for assembling and testing components to create finished products. You will collaborate with your team to ensure quality, efficiency, and safety in the production process.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Reading and interpreting assembly instructions, technical drawings, and schematics
  • Preparing and assembling components to create finished products
  • Operating machinery and equipment used in the assembly process
  • Inspecting and testing finished products to ensure they meet quality standards
  • Identifying and reporting any issues or defects in the production process

Required Experience, Education, Skills, Training and Competencies

  • Must be able to solder small gage wire.
  • Capable of using magnifying devices to assemble and solder small assemblies.
  • Have experience in assembly, testing, and operating machinery in manufacturing.
  • Skill Have mechanical abilities and a high level of precision.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and instructions with general reading, writing, and arithmetic skills
  • Be detail-oriented and able to maintain a high level of precision and accuracy.
