Electrical Assembler

The Electronics Assemblers primary objective is wiring all electrical controls for the specified product line.

MAJOR DUTIES:

• Diagnoses and fixes any electrical problems encountered during testing.
• Wires and directs the wiring of all electrical controls for the specified product line
• Schedules and assembles the electrical controls.
• Interacts with product engineering on the wiring of new products and changes to existing products.
• Makes up all electrical parts orders for existing and discontinued products
• Makes up control boxes for the service repair department
• Performs other duties as assigned by Value Stream Leader or Value Stream Manager.

Qualifications

A knowledge of electrical drawings and schematics is required. Proficiency in multi-meter and DVOM use is necessary. Must understand electrical products and be able to wire service/warranty parts. An understanding of soldering is preferred.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

Some bending and twisting are required. Routine duties will occasionally require lifting approximately 10-20 pounds (and periodically heavier loads.)
