Job Duties:- Assemble electronic components using manual processes, including stuffing, mechanical assembly, hand assembly, and soldering (both lead and lead-free), ensuring all soldering tasks meet IPC Class 3 workmanship standards.
- Required for aerospace, defense, medical devices, avionics, life-support or safety-critical systems
- No tolerance for defects — work must be precise, clean, and reliable
- Solder joints must be properly wetted, uniform, and completely free of pits, cracks, voids, or contamination
- Very strict on component alignment, lead trim, solder amount, and cleanliness
Requirements:- Minimum 2 year of experience in electronics assembly
- Have hands-on Class 3 assembly experience
- Have worked with tight tolerances and strict quality systems
- Demonstrate strong attention to detail
- Are comfortable working under a microscope
- Understand why Class 3 is held to a higher standard
- Produce consistent, repeatable workmanship
- Can explain Class 2 vs. Class 3 differences
